How SNAILKIL Works
SNAILKIL contains metaldehyde, an active ingredient used for the management of susceptible snails and slugs.
The pellet formulation acts as a bait. When consumed by susceptible mollusks, metaldehyde interferes with their normal physiological functions, resulting in dehydration and eventual death.

Golden Apple Snail
Golden apple snails can cause significant damage to young rice plants, particularly in direct-seeded rice where newly emerging seedlings are vulnerable.
SNAILKIL is also registered for certain snails and slugs in specified agricultural uses.
Recommended Use
For direct-seeded rice, the FPA-listed rate for SNAILKIL 6% PELLETS is 4–8 kg/ha.
Application should be made according to the current registered label and appropriate field conditions.
